Under the Najem brand, top quality staff accommodation complexes are proposed in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and selected other GCC countries.

Najem will explore dynamic new construction methods, such as the latest technology in modular construction. This method is a fast, flexible, innovative and superior quality technique capable of producing a variety finishes and layouts that precisely meet distinct client specifications and requirements.

Juan Fernando Valdivieso MBA
President & CEO 

Prior to founding GHS, Juan Fernando was the founder and Managing Partner of Dubai Equity Partners, a US-based real estate investment company. He was also founder and Partner with Park Street Advisors, a boutique strategy consulting firm. Juan Fernando began his career as a Junior Partner of McKinsey & Company. He worked in 14 different offices in 9 countries, primarily in projects in telecom, financial services and petroleum, with a special focus on strategy, business building and post-merger management. Juan Fernando holds a Masters of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management. He also holds Bachelor of Arts degrees from Lafayette College, summa cum lauda, in Economics, Business and International Affairs. Juan Fernando was also awarded the Wall Street Journal Achievement Award in Economics, as one of the top Economics undergraduates in the United States

Christopher Sims MRICS. MHKIS. ACIarb
Chief Operating Officer

Christopher brings to GHS over 25 years of diverse experience in the international property development and asset management industry. His career highlights include taking ALDAR from its initial conception in 1999 through it’s record breaking IPO launch in 2004 and culminating as its founding CEO as a PJSC with eight operating divisions in 2006. Thereafter, he was Executive Vice President of the DWTC’s Property Asset Management division, managing their CBD property asset portfolio and spearheading their multi-billion dollar property development program. Prior to this he has held senior management positions with the Hong Kong Land Company, Prudential Portfolio Managers Ltd, the London Dockland Development Corporation and Bovis Abroad; the international property arm of Bovis Lend Lease Construction Group
Muneef Tarmoom
Executive Member of the Board

Muneef is a senior advisor to Governments and leading corporations. He was formerly the CEO of Istithmar PJSC with investments that included Atlantis, The Palm; easyHotel, 230 & 280 Park Avenue, Inchcape SS., LOEHMANN’s. Prior to that, Muneef was a senior executive at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) where his role was to head the ADIA’s European Asset Management team - one of the largest in the world. Muneef has held Board positions in various global funds and corporations. Muneef is a Qualified Professional Member of IIMR (Institute of Investment Management and Research, London). He holds a BSc in Business Studies from Middlesex University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Strathclyde.
